harv-bishopHarvey “Harv” Bishop, who explores social justice and spirituality, has posted at his website an excerpt from a recent interview with Paul Selig, which Bishop has titled “What the Christ Consciousness says about war and suffering: A conversation with Paul Selig.”

It’s a fascinating read. The full interview is forthcoming in the magazine Guide for Spiritual Living: Science of Mind and covers, says Bishop, “a wide range of topics including the Guides teachings on the Law of Attraction, the transformation of consciousness, what it is like to collaborate with the Guides, and the impact of their teachings on

[Paul’s] life.”

Excerpts are below.

Deepak Chopra says Paul Selig’s channeled books in the “I Am the Word” trilogy are “authentic straightforward truth straight from the source field.”

I spoke with Selig about his work with the Guides, who identify as the Christ Consciousness, and the beginning of the second trilogy, “The Book of Mastery: The Mastery Trilogy Book 1” due January 2016 from Tarcher Perigee.

I asked Selig about a passage in the new book where the Guides respond to a hypothetical question about suffering.

“Are you saying that I made my child sick?” is the question they addressed.

Their response is “You did not make him sick, but you are party to your witnessing, your engagement with that particular issue.” It seems like the Guides answer to why bad things happen to good people is that we have collective shared constructs and agreements based in fear, which in turn creates our reality. In real world terms did the victims in Paris somehow individually create their reality or is there something in the collective consciousness of humanity that results in war and suffering?
